Nail Polish Bargain Shopping in the OC

Hey ladies! I just got back from a roadtrip to SoCal last night and thought I’d do a post on cheap nail supply stores. NP is so cheap in Little Saigon and nail supply stores are everyyyywhere! I don’t understand how you can not be a nail polish addict if you’re from there.

I’ve compiled a list of stores that I know about. I found these via yelp and have visited most of them. If you want to check your area, I suggest you type in “cheap opi” or “nail supply” on the yelp search bar. I just keep an eye open for Vietnamese nail supply stores around me. They usually don’t charge tax if you pay cash and the prices are about 50% less than retail price.

Skylark Nail & Beauty Supply
13858 Brookhurst St
Garden Grove, CA 92843
(714) 638-7466

Beauty Zone
9920 Westminister Ave, Suite B
Garden Grove, CA 92844
(714) 537-9105

Jasmine Beauty Supply
14441 Brookhurst St
Garden Grove, CA 92843
(714) 775-1725

9842 Bolsa Ave
Westminister, CA 92683
(714) 531-3550

Bolsa Nails & Beauty Supply
9647 Bolsa Ave
Westminister, CA 92683
(714) 531-0775

Imperial Beauty Supply
9411 Bolsa Ave, Suite A
Westminister, CA 92683
(714) 775-7848

DK Beauty Supply
14072 Magnolia St
Westminister, CA 92683
(714) 899-3641

All of these stores are within minutes of each other. The order that they are listed in is the most efficient way to visit all of them in one go. I'm not sure where DK Beauty Supply is so that one's the only exception.

The prices vary from place to place but OPI is generally $4 or less. Imperial and Bolsa carry Nubar.
My favorite has to be Beauty Zone. They’re nice and the store is clean and organized.

Happy nail polish shopping! =)

Thanks for the information! I had these stores mapped out for my SoCal trip later this month and I was trying to figure out which sold Nubar. :)

HI sorry for the late reply! I've haven't been in touch with the blogging world lately. >.<

@Chu-Chu
I keep my nails from breaking by always having them painted. I find that painted nails are much stronger than my bare nails. You should also use a base coat with nail nourishing ingredients that tend to your nails specific needs. There are tons of special base coats out there. I heard Essie has a great one. Good luck! =)

@Manda
NP! Hope you have a blast nail polish shopping =) I'm sure you'll be blown away!

Thanks for this post (: I was wondering if maybe you could do something similar to this but for Nor Cal? And going off of what Chu-Chu said, maybe you should write a post on your tips for strong nails? I find that keeping them polished makes mines stronger too! What kind of polish remover do you use though?
